The Process.

It all starts with good concrete preparation.

Whether it’s a brand new poured slab or pre-existing, diamond grinding the floor removes the “cream” layer and opens up the pores of the slab for best adhesion. All cracks are filled before the initial base-coat is applied for a smooth and seamless surface.

The installer will determine what system is best for the job and what products are recommended. Possible systems include:

• Grind, Stain, and Seal

• Neat Coat Epoxy System

• Full Flake System using 100% Solids Epoxy / MVB, Polyurea, or Polyaspartic

• Double Broadcast Quartz System

• Metallics

Most garages are sealed with an industrial grade 100% solids epoxy or polyurea system consisting of vinyl flakes or quartz being broadcast into the coat for superior abrasion and moisture resistance, while also creating a non-slip texture.

The surface is lastly sealed with a topcoat that provides superior protection and is UV, abrasion, and chemical resistant. Most superior topcoat systems include, polyapartic, polysiloxane, and high-wear urethane. They wont “yellow” over time and can be easily cleaned. Low odor and low VOC’s.

Foot traffic within 24 hours after the final topcoat is applied and allow 72 hours before vehicles.
